About The Role

Role Overview

We're seeking a Full stack Growth Engineer with Backend specialization to build and scale the technical infrastructure driving our growth initiatives. 

1. You'll own the systems that enable, measure, and optimize marketing performance across our Android and iOS applications and web properties—including server-side attribution, analytics pipelines, referral programs, and channel integrations.
2. Your work will bridge marketing strategy and technical execution: translating business requirements into robust solutions, designing experiments to improve conversion metrics, and developing internal tools that accelerate campaign velocity and reduce cross-team dependencies.

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure & Tracking

1. Build and maintain server-side tracking systems for robust attribution across web and mobile platforms
2. Design analytics pipelines connecting web, mobile apps, and advertising platforms for campaign measurement.
3. Own pixel and tracker health—proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain tracking accuracy
4. Create data infrastructure for attribution, experimentation, and reporting

Growth Systems & Experimentation

1. Design and build backend systems for referral programs, viral loops, and product-led growth features
2. Run A/B experiments on funnels, onboarding, and purchase flows to improve conversion rates
3. Audit user journeys to identify drop-offs and design experiments to address them
4. Develop internal tools and dashboards to reduce marketing dependencies

Channel Integration

1. Integrate new marketing channels (WhatsApp Business API, emerging platforms) via APIs and webhooks
2. Enable technical groundwork for channel experiments with tracking and automation
3. Support global marketing experiments with multi-region infrastructure

Collaboration

1. Partner with marketing to plan campaign tech readiness and translate needs into technical solutions
2. Monitor ad platform updates and maintain internal knowledge base
3. Define and track joint KPIs: attribution accuracy, funnel conversion, experiment velocity, tracker uptime

What You'll Bring

Must Have:

1. Strong backend engineering (3+ years) in , Python, or similar
2. Experience with marketing APIs (Meta Ads, Google Ads) and third-party integrations
3. Analytics implementation background (Segment, Amplitude, Firebase or similar)
4. Database design and data pipeline experience (SQL + NoSQL)
5. API design and third-party integration expertise
6. Data-driven experimentation mindset and understanding of A/B testing
7. Comfort working with large budgets and data-driven optimization strategies
8. Proven self-learner who picks up new technologies quickly
9. Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Bonus Skills:

1. Experience with web development (React/Vue, HTML/CSS/JS) for landing pages and funnel experiments.
2. Server-side tracking implementations (Meta CAPI, Google Enhanced Conversions, or similar)
3. Built referral systems, viral loops, or product-led growth features
4. Prior growth engineering, martech, or marketing analytics experience
5. Mobile development experience (iOS Swift or Android Kotlin)
6. Deep linking and mobile attribution SDKs (Branch, AppsFlyer, Adjust)
7. Data warehousing (Snowflake, BigQuery) and ETL pipelines
8. Queue systems and background processing (Redis, RabbitMQ, Celery)
9. Feature flag systems and experimentation frameworks
10. Messaging platform APIs (WhatsApp Business, Twilio)
11. SEO fundamentals and App Store optimization
