Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of South Indian dishes such as idli, dosa, vada, sambar, rasam, chutneys, curries, biryanis, poriyal, etc.
- Follow standard recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards set by the Head Chef.
- Ensure mise en place is ready for breakfast, lunch, and dinner service.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen as per HACCP / FSSAI standards.
- Store ingredients properly and monitor freshness of spices, lentils, vegetables, and other South Indian staples.
- Support senior chefs in menu planning, daily specials, and buffet setups.
- Assist in controlling wastage and portion control.
- Cooperate with team members and ensure smooth kitchen operations during peak hours.
- Handle equipment carefully (wet grinder, dosa tawa, idli steamer, etc.).
- Maintain consistency in taste, flavor, and presentation.
- Follow safety and sanitation regulations at all times.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹13, ₹20,000.00 per month
