Role Description

We are looking for a target-driven Business Development Lead to manage and mentor our Business Development Executives, oversee sales tools and processes, and actively contribute to revenue growth. This role is ideal for someone with 3–5 years of experience who is ready to step into a leadership position and grow with the company.

Team Leadership

  • Manage and guide 2 Business Development Executives.
  • Track daily/weekly performance (calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, pipeline progress).
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and motivation to the team.

Sales Growth & Targets

  • Take ownership of achieving team revenue targets.
  • Support BDEs in client meetings, pitches, and negotiations.
  • Close deals directly where required.

Sales Tools & Processes

  • Manage and optimize CRM and lead generation tools.
  • Ensure accurate tracking of leads, opportunities, and conversions.
  • Standardize outreach templates, proposals, and follow-up processes.

Market Development

  • Identify new business opportunities in India and North America.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and clients.
  • Work closely with the marketing team for aligned campaigns.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of proven experience in Business Development / Sales (IT services/software).
  • Exposure to international markets (North America preferred) is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM systems (Zoho, HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to lead a small team and be accountable for performance.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment.
