Position:
Accountant

Location: Jhansi

Experience: 4 to 6 years

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Record-Keeping:
     Maintain accurate and up-to-date ledgers, journals, and other financial records.
  • Financial Reporting:
     Prepare essential financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:
     Develop and monitor organizational budgets, providing forecasts to aid in planning and strategic development.
  • Tax Compliance:
     Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Auditing and Analysis:
     Conduct internal audits to verify financial accuracy, review financial data for discrepancies, and perform risk analysis.
  • Accounts Management:
     Manage accounts payable (paying bills) and accounts receivable (collecting payments) to ensure timely cash flow.
  • Cost and Profit Analysis:
     Analyze spending and budgets, and consult on strategies to reduce costs and increase profits.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
     Ensure that financial records and reports comply with all applicable accounting principles, standards, and legal requirements.

  • Detail-Oriented:
     A keen eye for detail is crucial to ensure accuracy in financial data and reporting.
  • Analytical Skills:
     Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
  • Communication Skills:
     Strong oral and written communication skills to explain financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
  • Technical Proficiency:
     Expertise in accounting software, spreadsheets (especially 
    Microsoft Excel
    ), and financial modeling.
  • Knowledge of Regulations:
     Up-to-date knowledge of accounting principles (like GAAP) and tax laws.
