Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and result-driven Area Sales Manager (ASM) to lead and manage our pharmaceutical sales operations in the assigned territory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing a team of Medical Representatives, and building strong relationships with healthcare professionals to expand market presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and achieve sales targets for the assigned area.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate a team of Medical Representatives.
  • Develop and implement territory-wise sales plans and strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, chemists, stockists, and key accounts.
  • Monitor daily field activities and ensure effective coverage.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
  • Ensure timely collection of payments and control outstanding dues.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings, reviews, and training sessions.
  • Prepare and submit sales reports to management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and ethical standards.

Eligibility & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Science, or Life Sciences (MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred).
  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, with at least 1–2 years as an ASM or Senior MR.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area.
