Job Category Consumer Bank Degree Level Bachelor s Degree As an Area Sales Manager you will be responsible for overseeing sales operations and strategies in the Housing Finance sector Your role involves managing a team of sales professionals setting sales targets and implementing effective sales plans to achieve business goals You will collaborate with various teams including marketing and operations to ensure a seamless customer experience and drive business growth Responsibilities Manage and mentor a team of sales executives providing guidance and support to achieve sales targets Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate new markets and expand the customer base Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business growth Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to sales team members for their development Ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal policies related to sales and customer interactions Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop effective marketing campaigns and product offerings Analyze sales data and prepare reports to identify areas for improvement and make informed business decisions Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in housing finance to enhance sales strategies Represent the company at industry events and conferences to promote the brand and network with potential clients Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Finance or a related field is preferred Minimum 5 years of experience in sales management preferably in the banking or financial services industry Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth Excellent leadership and mentoring skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to interpret data and make strategic decisions Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and internal teams Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales management tools for efficient sales tracking and reporting Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Flexibility to travel within the assigned region for client meetings and sales activities A self-starter with a results-driven mindset and a passion for sales and business development
