Job Title: Sales Operations Executive

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Sales Operations Executive to support our merchant sales and account management teams. The role involves managing offer configurations, merchant account-level updates, invoicing, and operational reporting. You will play a key role in maintaining data accuracy, enabling faster sales execution, and ensuring seamless support for our merchant partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Offer Configuration & Account Management

  2. Configure and maintain merchant offers, pricing, and discounts within internal systems.

  3. Execute MDR (Merchant Discount Rate) and VAS (Value-Added Services) updates as per approved requests.
  4. Ensure all merchant account changes comply with internal approval and audit processes.
  5. Maintain accurate merchant data across CRM and internal sales platforms.

  6. Invoicing & Reconciliation

  7. Process and verify merchant invoices in coordination with Finance and Sales teams.

  8. Track billing cycles, adjustments, and settlements to ensure accuracy.
  9. Support monthly and quarterly reconciliation exercises for key merchant accounts.

  10. Data Analytics & Reporting

  11. Prepare and maintain daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports covering sales performance, merchant activity, and operational metrics.

  12. Perform data analysis to identify revenue trends, offer utilization, and merchant behavior insights.
  13. Support leadership and cross-functional teams with ad-hoc data requests and performance dashboards.

  14. Merchant Escalations & Key Account Support

  15. Act as an operational liaison for key merchants, ensuring timely resolution of escalations.

  16. Coordinate with Tech, Finance, and Product teams to troubleshoot and resolve merchant-related issues.
  17. Monitor major merchant accounts to proactively flag issues and ensure smooth payment operations.

  18. Process Optimization & Collaboration

  19. Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement within the sales operations workflow.

  20. Partner with Product and Engineering teams to enhance internal tools and reporting systems.
  21. Drive consistency in operational processes, documentation, and data hygiene across systems.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Operations, or Merchant Support within a Fintech / Payments / Banking environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets; exposure to BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, etc.) and internal operations tools.
  • Understanding of payment processing, merchant lifecycle management, and fintech business models.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
  • High ownership mindset with the ability to multitask and deliver under tight timelines.

  • Accuracy of offer configurations and merchant data updates
  • Timeliness of MIS and reporting deliverables
  • Resolution time for merchant escalations
  • Merchant satisfaction and retention
  • Internal process compliance and audit readiness
