Description
Key Responsibility Areas including preferred Skills and ExperienceSound understanding of Reinsurance operation and accounting of Premium and Losses, Topside Premium, and losses AdjReview of cession calculations, system cessions and validationsReview of settlements of FAC, XOL and QS TreatiesReview of the Market reports (Bordereaux) sent to the reinsurers/brokers ;Should be able to manage a team and coach them continuously to achieve business goal ;Able to help team in resolving their queries as an when neededTo ensure complete operations management for end-to-end processes, including Claim notice, collections, Cash applications, month end premium and loss JEs, reconciliation and reinsurance reportingIs required to possess deep knowledge of the all the activities, workflow, expectations of all end clientsTo ensure timely and accurate delivery of daily, monthly, and periodic processing of client requirementsShould establish systems and processes to ensure highest quality levels of performance is achieved on a day-to day basis.To handle any escalation w.r.t. any operational issue.To ensure proper documentation of workflow of all activities related to all the clients.To interact with a client on day-to day basis responding to their requirements at a short notice by re-aligning priorities.Should be able to understand & anticipate Clients business needs, concerns & issues, and be able to proactively resolve the same.Constantly look for opportunities to improve the client processing and provide value addition to client by exceeding expectations.To create systems and checks for internal compliance policies and guidelines and ensures maintenance of clear and precise records per the requirements.Encourages & demonstrates respect for others in a team and inculcate the same culture across the team members ;Competencies: ;Profound knowledge of P&C Reinsurance BusinessExcellent communication both written, verbal, and analytical skillsGood decision-making skillKnowledge of London Market reinsurance preferredCommitted to achieving specific objectives and takes ownership for accomplishing them.Effectively balances quality, customer service and productivity standardsAbility to prioritize & multi-taskExhibits meticulous attention to detailGood problem solving & analytical skills ;Capable of working with tight deadlines and working under pressureAct as liaison between team members and management & bring issues/concerns to management ;Eligibility Criteria:Manager -Bachelor's degree or Post Graduate, with overall 8-12 years of experience ;3+ years of supervisory experience in the field of Insurance/Reinsurance accountingProficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint ;Desirable-Certification in P&C InsurancePreferable experience in Sequel Re systemMust have an experience of setting up a new process
