Service Manager

Staff management and development
- Hire, train, and supervise service technicians, advisors, and support staff.
- Schedule and assign work duties based on staff skills and availability.
- Set performance goals for the team and monitor productivity.
- Provide or arrange for technical training and ensure team morale and retention.
Customer relations
- Oversee daily customer interactions and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Address customer complaints and concerns promptly and effectively.
- Educate customers on vehicle maintenance and service recommendations.
- Build relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business.
Operations and efficiency
- Manage the daily workflow of the service department to optimize efficiency.
- Ensure high-quality repairs and minimize "comebacks".
- Conduct periodic spot checks on completed work.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment, adhering to safety policies and regulations.
Financial and administrative management
- Oversee the department budget and implement cost-control measures.
- Track service revenue and other financial metrics, prepare performance reports.
- Manage parts and supplies inventory, including ordering and supplier relationships.
- Maintain accurate and complete service and warranty records
Job Type: Permanent
