Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Credentialing Specialist, located in Ahmedabad. The Credentialing Specialist will be responsible for processing and maintaining the credentialing and re-credentialing of medical staff, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards. Day-to-day tasks include verifying professional credentials, maintaining credentialing files, liaising with healthcare providers and insurance companies, handling inquiries related to credentialing, and ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and accurate.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Credentialing and Medical Staff Credentialing
  • Strong Communication and Customer Service skills
  • Knowledge of Medicare regulations and requirements
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in computer software and databases related to credentialing
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field is preferred
  • Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) or Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) is a plus
