The Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Lead Salesforce CPQ/Revenue Cloud Developer with 8+ years of dedicated experience to join our expert team. Key Responsibilities:
Solution Architecture & Technical Leadership:
Lead the technical design and architectural strategy for complex Salesforce CPQ and Billing/Revenue Cloud implementations, ensuring solutions are scalable, high-performing, and align with client business objectives.
- Act as a technical authority for CPQ and Revenue Cloud, providing expert guidance on best practices, governance, and design patterns.
- Translate advanced business requirements into detailed technical specifications and architectural blueprints.
Conduct in-depth technical reviews of solution designs and code to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
Advanced Development & Implementation:
Develop sophisticated, high-quality Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flow, and advanced declarative tools.
- Master configuration of Salesforce CPQ, including complex product bundles, dynamic pricing strategies, advanced approvals, quote templates, and discount matrices.
- Implement Salesforce Billing/Revenue Cloud functionalities such as order management, invoice generation, payment processing, revenue recognition (ASC606), and subscription lifecycle events.
- Design and execute comprehensive data migration strategies for CPQ and Revenue Cloud components.
Orchestrate seamless integrations between Salesforce CPQ/Revenue Cloud and critical external systems (e.g., ERP, payment gateways, CLM) using various API technologies.
Mentorship & Quality Assurance:
Provide technical mentorship and guidance to project teams, elevating the overall technical capability and knowledge base.
- Champion code quality, test-driven development, and secure coding practices across projects.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies within the practice.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement:
Serve as a primary technical point of contact for clients, effectively communicating complex technical concepts and solutions.
- Collaborate strategically with Solution Architects, Business Analysts, and Project Managers to drive successful project outcomes and client satisfaction.
- Contribute technical insights during pre-sales and discovery phases, assisting in solutioning and effort estimation.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Minimum 8+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, with a significant portion (5+ years strongly preferred) dedicated to Salesforce CPQ and/or Salesforce Billing/Revenue Cloud implementations within a consulting environment.
Proven expertise with Salesforce CPQ configuration:
Deep understanding and practical application of product rules, pricing rules, configuration attributes, bundles, discount schedules, quote line editors, and advanced approvals.Demonstrated experience with Salesforce Billing/Revenue Cloud:
Strong understanding of order orchestration, invoice lifecycle, payment integration, tax implications, and revenue recognition principles.Expert-level proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Flow.
Extensive experience with Salesforce API integrations (REST, SOAP, Platform Events) and integration best practices.
Familiarity with DevOps tools and methodologies (e.g., Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing).
Required Salesforce Certifications:
Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist
Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II
Highly Desired Certifications:
Salesforce Certified Billing Specialist, Application Architect, or System Architect credentials.Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Proven ability to lead technical workstreams, manage priorities, and deliver high-quality solutions in a dynamic consulting setting.
