Position Overview
The HR Executive (Generalist) will be responsible for handling the day-to-day HR operations, supporting end-to-end employee lifecycle management, and ensuring the smooth implementation of company policies. This role requires a proactive, organized, and people-oriented professional who can balance administrative efficiency with employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
- Assist in the full recruitment cycle — job postings, screening, interviews, and offer letters.
- Coordinate onboarding, induction, and orientation programs for new hires.
2. Employee Relations & Engagement
- Serve as a point of contact for employee queries and grievances.
- Support initiatives to maintain high employee morale and engagement.
- Organize employee welfare activities, celebrations, and communication programs.
3. HR Operations & Compliance
- Maintain and update employee records in HRIS and personnel files.
- Handle attendance, leave management, and payroll coordination.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (PF, ESI, gratuity, etc.).
- Assist with HR audits and documentation for compliance reporting.
4. Performance Management
- Support the performance appraisal process.
- Coordinate goal-setting, evaluation, and feedback sessions.
5. Training & Development
- Identify training needs in collaboration with department heads.
- Coordinate training sessions and maintain training records.
6. Policy Implementation
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are effectively communicated and adhered to.
- Recommend improvements to HR processes for greater efficiency and employee satisfaction.
Qualifications & Skills
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or MBA in Human Resources / Business Administration or related field (Preferred)
Experience:
- 1–4 years of experience in HR operations or generalist roles (preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment).
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Working knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Proficient in MS Office and HR software tools (HRIS/ERP).
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
