Job Description
Role:- Team Lead - Polymer (Manager/Sr. Manager) - R&D
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead polymer synthesis and process development projects for CDMO/CMO customers
- Design and optimize polymerization process (bulk, solution, emulsion, suspension) at lab scale
- Prepare process packages (Tech Pack) for pilot and tech transfer
- Maintain compliance with safety protocols, documentation standards, and regulatory guidelines
- Drive innovation projects in new polymer materials aligned with Novopors growth strategy
Competencies:
- Strong expertise in polymer synthesis, characterization, and modification techniques
- Hands-on experience with all polymerization methods (free radical, emulsion, solution, bulk, suspension, melt)
- Proficiency in polymer analytics: GPC/SEC, NMR, DSC, TGA, FTIR, Rheology
- Understanding of scale-up challenges from lab to pilot plant for polymer projects
Qualification: Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry / Polymer Science / Materials Chemistry (MTech/M.Sc. with strong experience may be considered)
Nature of Experience:
- 8 to 12 years in polymer synthesis with exposure to CDMO/CMO in Specialty Polymers, Electronic Chemicals, Pharma Excipients, or Advanced Materials.
- Demonstrated record of developing and scaling new polymeric materials
- Strong publication/patent record will be an added advantage
