Role & responsibilities

  • Identify relevant tenders in the Fire & Safety sector from various government portals (GeM, CPPP, eProcurement, Railways, PSUs, etc.).
  • Study tender documents in-depth, including eligibility criteria, technical specifications, scope of work, and payment terms.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (Sales, Technical, Finance, Legal) to gather and compile documents for bid submission.

  • Prepare and submit technical and commercial bids for tenders related to:

  • Fire extinguishers

  • Fire alarm systems
  • Hydrant systems
  • Suppression systems

  • AMC contracts for fire systems

  • Manage online registrations and documentation on platforms such as GeM, eProcure, MSTC, etc.

  • Handle EMDs, Performance Bank Guarantees, and other financial instruments required in the bidding process.
  • Participate in pre-bid meetings, prepare clarification queries, and respond to post-bid clarifications.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of bids, bid submissions, correspondence, and contract awards.
  • Track the status of submitted tenders and coordinate for follow-ups.
  • Stay updated on government procurement policies and fire safety compliance norms (e.g., BIS, ISI standards, NBC, etc.).

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in government tendering, preferably in the Fire & Safety industry.
  • Strong knowledge of fire safety equipment and compliance standards.
  • Hands-on experience with GeM, CPPP, and other e-tendering platforms.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and PDF editing tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of fire safety norms such as IS:2190, NFPA, NBC, etc.
  • Experience with government clients such as PSU, Railways, Defence, Municipal Corporations, etc.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple bids simultaneously.
