Fieldglass VMS Product QA Tester

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented
Fieldglass VMS Product QA Tester
to join our Quality Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have
deep expertise in SAP Fieldglass or other leading Vendor Management Systems (VMS)
, combined with advanced
automation and regression testing skills
.

This role involves ensuring product quality, performance, and compliance for large-scale, multi-tenant SaaS implementations. Experience with
AI-driven test automation frameworks
,
API-level testing
, and
complex workflow validations
is highly desirable.

You will work closely with
product managers, developers, solution consultants, and implementation teams
to design, execute, and optimize test strategies that ensure exceptional quality in every VMS product release.

Key Responsibilities

1. Quality Assurance & Testing

• Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive
  test plans, test cases, and test scripts
  based on business and functional requirements.
• Perform
  functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing
  for Fieldglass modules (e.g., Job Postings, Timesheets, Invoicing, Supplier Management, Compliance).
• Validate
  end-to-end contingent workforce workflows
  , including requisition creation, supplier submissions, onboarding, timesheets, and payment cycles.
• Ensure platform integrity across
  multi-tenant environments
  with different configurations and user roles.
• Conduct
  cross-browser and device testing
  to ensure consistent user experiences.

2. Automation Engineering

• Design and implement
  automated test suites
  for regression and smoke testing using tools such as
  Selenium, TestNG, Cypress, or Playwright
  .
• Develop
  data-driven and API-level automated tests
  (using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or Katalon).
• Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g.,
  Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps
  ) for continuous testing.
• Optimize test automation frameworks for scalability and maintainability.
• Leverage
  AI-based test automation tools
  (e.g.,
  Testim, Mabl, Functionize, Applitools, Katalon AI
  ) to accelerate regression coverage and anomaly detection.

3. AI & Intelligent Testing (Preferred / Advanced)

• Explore and integrate
  AI and ML-based testing methodologies
  , including predictive analytics for defect detection and test case prioritization.
• Use
  AI-assisted tools
  to identify UI changes, optimize regression coverage, and improve test accuracy.
• Participate in proof-of-concept evaluations of emerging
  AI testing platforms
  and frameworks.

4. VMS Domain Expertise

• Apply deep understanding of
  VMS business processes
  including contingent labor workflows, rate management, compliance rules, and supplier engagement.
• Test
  complex approval chains, integrations, and role hierarchies
  between clients, MSPs, suppliers, and contingent workers.
• Validate
  data integrity across integrations
  with ERP, HRIS, and finance systems such as
  Workday, SAP, Oracle, Coupa
  , and payroll providers.
• Verify compliance with global
  data privacy and security standards (GDPR, SOC2, ISO 27001)
  within the VMS ecosystem.

5. Collaboration & Reporting

• Work closely with
  Product Management and Development
  teams to review requirements, acceptance criteria, and design specifications.
• Collaborate with
  Implementation and Customer Success
  teams to replicate production issues and ensure defect-free releases.
• Document, track, and manage defects using
  JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar bug tracking systems
  .
• Provide
  QA sign-off
  for product releases, ensuring all acceptance criteria and test coverage requirements are met.
• Participate in
  scrum ceremonies
  (standups, sprint planning, retrospectives) within an Agile environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• 5–8 years of QA experience
  in enterprise SaaS or VMS environments (preferably
  SAP Fieldglass
  , Beeline, or similar platforms).
• Strong expertise in
  manual and automated testing
  of complex multi-tenant systems.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools:
• UI:
  Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG
• API:
  Postman, RestAssured, Katalon, SoapUI
• CI/CD:
  Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g.,
  Python, Java, or JavaScript
  ) for automation framework customization.
• Understanding of
  SQL and data validation
  for backend testing.
• Familiarity with
  AI-powered testing tools
  such as
  Testim, Mabl, Functionize, or Applitools
  .
• Experience in
  cloud-based testing environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  .

Domain Knowledge

• In-depth understanding of
  VMS processes
  , including contingent workforce lifecycle, rate cards, compliance checks, timesheet approvals, and invoicing workflows.
• Strong grasp of
  multi-currency, multi-language
  , and
  global deployment scenarios
  in SaaS systems.
• Exposure to
  ERP/HRIS integrations
  (SAP, Workday, Oracle) and
  SSO configurations
  .
• Knowledge of
  GDPR and data protection requirements
  .

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in
  ISTQB, Certified Software Tester (CSTE)
  , or equivalent.
• Experience working in
  Agile/Scrum environments
  .
• Exposure to
  performance testing
  tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Experience with
  test data management
  and synthetic data generation for large-scale SaaS testing.
