Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce QA Tester with 46 years of experience in testing Salesforce applications across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and custom components. The ideal candidate will have strong QA expertise in functional, regression, integration, and automation testing within Salesforce environments, and will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality releases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform end-to-end functional, system, regression, and integration testing for Salesforce applications.
  • Validate Salesforce configuration, custom objects, workflows, triggers, Apex classes, Lightning components, and third-party integrations.
  • Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements and user stories.
  • Execute manual and automation test cases and report results.
  • Work with business analysts, developers, and product owners to ensure requirement clarity and issue resolution.
  • Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman/SoapUI.
  • Manage defect tracking and reporting using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
  • Ensure test coverage using defined quality processes and best practices.
  • Support UAT and coordinate with stakeholders.
  • Maintain QA documentation and contribute to continuous process improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 46 years of experience in QA testing, with at least 2–3 years of Salesforce testing experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce Clouds (Sales / Service / Experience / Marketing) and Lightning components.
  • Hand-on experience in writing and executing test cases, test scripts, and test strategy planning.
  • Experience testing Apex, SOQL, data validation, workflows, and security roles/profiles.
  • Experience with REST/SOAP API testing and familiarity with integration flows across Salesforce.
  • Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies, and DevOps CI/CD concepts.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Provar, UFT, or Tricentis (good to have).
  • Strong analytical & troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal).

Preferred / Good to Have

  • Salesforce Admin (ADM-201) or QA certification.
  • Experience with Provar or Selenium automation for Salesforce.
  • Knowledge of database testing and SOQL queries.
  • Exposure to MuleSoft or other middleware platforms.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
