Job Title: Game Tester (Unity & Unreal Engine)

Department: Game Development / QA

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Game Tester with hands-on experience in Unity and Unreal Engine. The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for detail, a passion for gaming, and the ability to identify, reproduce, and report gameplay issues. In addition to testing, the candidate should have basic to intermediate skills in level design, ensuring test levels are functional, engaging, and align with gameplay objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Test games developed in Unity and Unreal Engine for functionality, performance, and user experience.

Identify, document, and track bugs and gameplay issues across multiple builds.

Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and artists to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Create and execute detailed test plans and test cases for different gameplay systems.

Verify fixes and perform regression testing on updated builds.

Evaluate gameplay balance, level design logic, and environment setup.

Support the level design team by assisting with layout testing, object placement, and basic scene setup in Unity and Unreal.

Provide gameplay feedback and suggestions for improving overall game quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of Unity and Unreal Engine (editor navigation, playtesting, and debugging).

Understanding of game development workflows and version control systems (e.g., Git, Perforce).

Basic to intermediate experience in level design including terrain editing, lighting setup, and gameplay flow testing.

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and documentation skills.

Passion for video games and an understanding of gameplay mechanics and player experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in QA Testing for Unity or Unreal projects.

Knowledge of Blueprints (Unreal) and C# scripting (Unity) for minor debugging or testing automation.

Familiarity with VR/AR game testing (optional, if applicable).

Experience creating test levels or prototype environments for gameplay validation.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Design, Interactive Media, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
