Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced
ETL Tester with some lead-level experience
to help establish and drive a robust QA function for our data and ETL initiatives. The ideal candidate should be hands-on with
ETL testing
, capable of
setting up QA processes
, and have a working knowledge of
test automation
—particularly for
regression testing
.

This is an
onsite role in Hyderabad
, supporting teams and stakeholders based in the
UK
.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and implement QA processes for ETL/data pipeline validation from scratch.
  • Perform in-depth
    ETL/data testing
    , including data validation, transformation, and reconciliation.
  • Support and guide QA team members on testing strategies and best practices.
  • Build or support
    automated regression test suites
    using tools such as Selenium, Python, or equivalent.
  • Collaborate closely with data engineers, analysts, and product stakeholders to ensure quality across the pipeline.
  • Create test plans, test cases, and maintain QA documentation.
  • Work in alignment with UK business hours to support distributed teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement in QA processes, tools, and coverage.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of QA experience with at least
    3 years in ETL/data testing
    .
  • Experience in
    leading QA efforts
    or setting up a QA function/process.
  • Strong
    SQL skills
    for validating large datasets and complex transformations.
  • Exposure to
    QA automation tools
    for regression testing (e.g., Selenium, PyTest, or similar).
  • Familiarity with ETL tools like
    SSIS.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work onsite in Hyderabad and support
    UK time zone
    operations.

Good to Have:

  • Experience in the
    healthcare domain
    (not mandatory).
  • Familiarity with
    cloud-based data platforms
    (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Knowledge of BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for end-to-end validation.
