Primary Responsibilities:
Developing Quality Procedures: Devising and establishing hospital quality procedures, standards, and specifications, such as NABH standards.
Patient Requirements: Reviewing patient requirements and ensuring they are met.

Service Evaluation: Ensuring services meet international and national standards.
Improvement Initiatives:
Data Analysis: Gathering and analyzing data to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
Corrective Actions: Implementing corrective actions to address weaknesses and improve quality.
Policy Review: Reviewing existing policies and suggesting changes and improvements.
Leadership and Collaboration:
Team Leadership: Leading and motivating a team to achieve quality standards.

Training and Development: Providing training, tools, and techniques to enable others to achieve quality standards.
Requirements and Skills:
Education: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Hospital Administration (BHA) or Healthcare Administration, is typically required. A Master's degree (MHA) is often preferred.
Experience: Typically requires more than three years of managerial excellence or experience in quality management.
Certifications: Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or other recognized certifications in quality and/or patient safety programs are often preferred.
