The Convention Center Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the convention and event facilities, ensuring exceptional service delivery, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction. This role requires a leader with strong hospitality experience who can balance guest relations, event management, and facility operations while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and service quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all aspects of the convention center's daily operations, including event setup, logistics, maintenance, and guest services.
  • Ensure that facilities are clean, safe, and properly maintained at all times.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures aligned with company standards and hospitality best practices.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, security, catering, and technical teams to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Prepare and manage annual operating budgets for the convention center.
  • Monitor financial performance, control costs, and maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and guest-focused service.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Event Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of progressive experience in hospitality, convention center, or large-scale event management.
  • Proven leadership experience managing large teams in a high-volume, guest-oriented environment.
  • Strong knowledge of event operations, catering, facilities management, and client relations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
