
Restaurant General Manager

Job Summary:
The Restaurant General Manager is responsible for the overall management and profitability of the restaurant. This includes ensuring exceptional guest experiences, achieving financial targets, leading and developing the restaurant team, and maintaining operational excellence across all departments. The GM acts as the driving force behind business growth, staff performance, and brand standards.
Key Responsibilities: Operational Management:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the restaurant including front of house (FOH) and back of house (BOH).
- Ensure smooth service, quality food, and adherence to brand and hygiene standards.
- Monitor all departments (service, kitchen, bar, housekeeping, security) for efficiency and coordination.
- Develop and implement SOPs to streamline operations.
Financial Performance:
- Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
- Monitor daily sales, expenses, and profitability.
- Analyze P&L statements and take corrective actions to achieve financial targets.
- Drive revenue growth through promotions, events, and customer engagement strategies.
Team Leadership & HR:
- Recruit, train, and mentor restaurant managers and staff.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and ensure staff motivation and retention.
- Foster a positive, professional, and teamwork-driven environment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws.
Guest Experience & Brand Management:
- Ensure top-quality guest experience and handle VIP guests personally.
- Address customer feedback and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Maintain brand standards in service, presentation, and ambiance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with regular guests and local partners.
Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure adherence to FSSAI, excise, fire, and safety regulations.
- Maintain hygiene and sanitation standards in all operational areas.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections.
Marketing & Business Development:
- Collaborate with marketing teams for events, campaigns, and promotions.
- Analyze market trends and competitors to identify new opportunities.
- Drive guest loyalty programs and community engagement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Hotel/Restaurant Management or related field.
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in restaurant or hospitality management (multi-outlet experience preferred).
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and financial management abilities.
- Proven record of achieving sales and operational excellence.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹45, ₹55,000.00 per month
