Role Overview

The Assistant Vice President (AVP) Wealth Management Sales will lead business development initiatives, manage high-value client relationships, and drive revenue growth through advisory-led wealth solutions. The role requires a strong understanding of investment products, financial planning, and relationship management, along with proven sales leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales targets for wealth management products and services.
  • Identify, acquire, and manage relationships with high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients.
  • Provide tailored investment advice and holistic wealth management solutions, including portfolio management, estate planning, insurance, and tax advisory.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate a team of relationship managers and sales professionals.
  • Collaborate with product, research, and operations teams to deliver superior client service and innovative offerings.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to inform business strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and all applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare periodic business performance reports for senior management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum 8–12 years of experience in wealth management or private banking sales, including leadership roles.
  • Strong track record in HNW/UHNW client acquisition and retention.
  • In-depth knowledge of investment instruments (equities, bonds, mutual funds, alternatives) and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver results in a competitive environment.
