Content Marketing Lead

As a Content Marketing Lead, you will help Simform continue to grow as a top publication in the software product engineering industry. You will work with the content team and will oversee any kind of content requirements with a focus on quality concerning Simform's standards and brand guidelines.
The individual will be responsible for working with our team of writers, copywriters, editors, graphic designers, and other task owners from the marketing team to maintain an editorial calendar that supports and extends cross-departmental marketing initiatives, both long-term and short-term.
This role will be directly reporting to the Director of Marketing.
Responsibilities:
Lead and scale content publishing, including resource planning/allocation, delivering programmatic goals, and advancing team's performance. Drive Simform's marketing content from ideation through creation, delivery, and evaluation and engage with Simform's key audiences. Actively participate in setting strategic directions with senior leaders and executing those in operational plans. Own Simform's content calendar, find innovative ways to engage and get our voice heard. Lead and manage editorial pieces and content formats, including articles, press releases, reports, case studies, landing pages, ebooks, whitepapers, etc. Further, create supporting content to engage prospective customers through all channels at different stages of the buying journey. Develop our content marketing plan closely with our different teams of marketing. Produce content for short deadlines in response to new developments, and develop rich series of evergreen and in-depth content for longer campaigns. Ability to push the status quo and thoroughly explain complicated technical concepts to intrigue new audiences and add depth of understanding to the existing ones. Act as the main communicator for content marketing to peers and senior stakeholders. Recruit, lead, and mentor a happy, high-performing content team. Improve reporting on content performance and provide insights on what content works best and why.Qualifications:
5+ years of experience within a content marketing role in software development or a similar service-based industry. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to write/review/guide engaging, creative copy across various formats.Proficient in the use of AI tools (ChatGPT, Perplexity etc) used in the process of content generation and overall marketing.Ability to gather data from various sources, weave them together, and create a compelling story to portray Simform and its services at best. Thorough understanding of Content creation, Demand Generation, and Account-based marketing. Lots of energy, drive to get things done, and adaptability to change. Exceptional attention to detail and passion for what you do and the work your team produces. Experience with a variety of content types and channels, and knowledge of how to successfully evaluate the team's output.
