Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in maintaining accurate books of accounts including journals, ledgers, and reconciliations.
  • Record and process daily accounting transactions (sales, purchases, receipts, and payments).
  • Handle bank reconciliation statements and monitor cash flow.
  • Support in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory filings under the supervision of the senior accountant.
  • Verify bills, vouchers, and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist in audit preparation and respond to auditor queries.
  • Maintain organized financial records and ensure timely data entry.
  • Support management in budgeting and expense tracking activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in accounting or finance roles (fresh graduates may apply).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Tally.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and Indian taxation laws (GST, TDS).
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
