Job Summary

The Junior Accountant will support daily accounting and finance operations at Budhia Steel Works Pvt. Ltd. This role involves maintaining accurate financial records, handling invoices, assisting in GST and TDS filings, and coordinating with vendors, customers, and internal departments. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of Tally and basic manufacturing accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record daily purchase, sales, expense, and journal entries in Tally ERP.
  • Prepare and maintain sales invoices, purchase bills, and payment vouchers.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable with regular follow-ups for payments.
  • Assist in bank reconciliation, petty cash management, and day-to-day accounting activities.
  • Support GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance workings and data preparation.
  • Maintain inventory and stock transaction records related to raw material and finished goods.
  • Coordinate with the store and production departments for material issue/receipt documentation.
  • Assist in the preparation of MIS reports, ledgers, and trial balances.
  • Liaise with CA / auditors for accounting documentation and audit queries.
  • Ensure proper filing and organization of all accounting documents and vouchers.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: B.Com / M.Com or equivalent (Candidates with accounting diploma or certification preferred).
  • Experience: 0–2 years (Freshers with good Tally knowledge may also apply).
  • Software Skills: Tally ERP / Tally Prime, MS Excel, MS Word.
  • Knowledge of: GST, TDS, Bank Reconciliation, Journal Entries, Manufacturing Accounting.
  • Other Skills: Attention to detail, numeric accuracy, time management, and coordination skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹24, ₹35,000.00 per month
