About the Role

We are looking for an Innovation Thinking Trainee who can bring curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving skills to our team. This role is designed for individuals eager to explore design thinking, new product development, and futuristic problem-solving approaches across fashion, sustainability, and technology. The trainee will work with cross-functional teams to ideate, prototype, and test disruptive ideas that align with Wabric's vision of reimagining fashion and lifestyle. This is an unpaid traineeship program (6-8 Weeks) where you will gain hands-on experience.

**Only students or recent graduates pursuing/completed a Master's in Design, Innovation, Business and or relevant fields may apply. Selection will be based on interview performance. Candidates must be available for full-time (Remote) traineeship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply design thinking and innovation frameworks to solve real-world business challenges.
  • Research emerging technologies, materials, and consumer trends for inspiration.
  • Collaborate with design, AI, sustainability, and marketing teams to develop new concepts.
  • Assist in creating prototypes, pilot projects, and experiments.
  • Document processes, brainstorming sessions, and learnings into innovation playbooks.
  • Contribute ideas for sustainable practices, product experiences, and digital-first fashion.
  • Support innovation workshops and hackathons within the organization.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong creative problem-solving and analytical mindset.
  • Familiarity with design thinking, human-centered design, or innovation models.
  • Curiosity for fashion, technology, sustainability, and consumer behavior.
  • Ability to create visual concepts, sketches, or rapid prototypes (digital/physical).
  • Good communication and storytelling skills to pitch ideas.
  • Adaptability, experimentation mindset, and eagerness to learn.
