WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

As a Lifecycle Marketing Manager at Lumosity, you'll own our email and push communication channels and drive engagement across millions of users worldwide. As part of our Growth team, you'll design and execute marketing strategies and automations that engage users, encourage daily training, and drive subscription growth.

You'll be responsible for building and optimizing multi-channel journeys — from onboarding through long-term engagement and winback — across email, push notifications, and in-app messaging using Braze.

Our ideal candidate blends strategic insight and hands-on execution, with a passion for data, experimentation, and behavioral psychology.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze customer acquisition, retention, churn, and transaction data to uncover insights.
  • Build, maintain, and automate dashboards and reports for business stakeholders.
  • Conduct deep dives into structured and unstructured data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities.
  • Support root cause analysis for metric changes and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Partner with product and business teams to define, track, and measure KPIs.
  • Assist in A/B test design, feature evaluations, and campaign analysis.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across reporting pipelines.
  • Collaborate with engineers and analysts to improve data quality and infrastructure (Snowflake, pipelines, BI tools).

WHAT YOU HAVE

  • Own Lumosity's email, push, and in-app messaging strategy end-to-end — from audience segmentation to creative execution.
  • Create personalized lifecycle journeys by mapping key user states and behavioral triggers that guide users through onboarding, activation, habit formation, and subscription conversion.
  • Build and optimize triggered and automated campaigns using Braze Canvas and Liquid personalization.
  • Develop re-engagement and winback campaigns that bring users back into training routines.
  • Manage the weekly newsletter and content calendar highlighting new content, product features, and brain training insights.
  • Continuously A/B test subject lines, creative, and timing to optimize performance.
  • Track and analyze lifecycle KPIs including activation rate, engagement frequency, retention, and conversion to premium.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align messaging across growth, science and product initiatives.
  • Shape the long-term lifecycle roadmap, championing smarter automation and user-state personalization.

  • Experience working cross-functionally with product, science & business teams.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail in campaign execution.
  • Creative mindset and a willingness to experiment — both in content and process.

  • Enjoy running experiments and turning insights into smarter campaigns.
  • Can move fluidly from concept to execution to analysis.

WHAT YOU HAVE

  • 2–5 years of experience in lifecycle, CRM, or retention marketing, ideally for a subscription or consumer tech product.
  • Hands-on experience with Braze (Canvas, Segmentation, Liquid personalization, and A/B testing) or an equivalent CRM tool.
  • Strong grasp of email and push marketing best practices and user behavior analytics.

Bonus Skills:

  • Proficiency in responsive HTML/CSS for email optimization.
  • Familiarity with behavioral or state-based personalization frameworks.
  • Experience with content or copywriting for user engagement campaigns.
