Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a CDP (Chef de Partie) in the hot kitchen at Anko Café, based in Coimbatore. The CDP will be responsible for supervising food preparation activities, preparing high-quality dishes, ensuring consistent presentation, and maintaining kitchen hygiene standards. Responsibilities include managing kitchen inventory, mentoring junior team members, complying with safety and sanitation protocols, and contributing to menu planning as needed.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in SOUTH INDIAN AND CONTINENTAL Food Preparation and Cooking; ability to handle a wide range of dishes with consistent taste and quality.
  • Knowledge of Hygiene standards, including understanding of food safety and sanitation practices in the kitchen.
  • Excellent Communication skills to collaborate with team members and effectively share instructions in a fast-paced setting.
  • Customer Service orientation to ensure food presentation and quality align with guest expectations and maintain a positive dining experience.
  • Prior experience as a CDP or in a similar role is preferred; a culinary degree or equivalent certification is a plus.
  • Flexibility, teamwork abilities, and the capacity to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
