Front Office Associate

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests upon arrival and ensure a smooth check-in and check-out process.
- Handle guest reservations, cancellations, and modifications using the Property Management System (PMS).
- Manage room assignments and issue room keys.
- Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a courteous and timely manner.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel services, amenities, promotions, and local attractions.
- Handle cash, credit card, and other payment transactions securely.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments regarding room status and guest needs.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
- Ensure guest records are properly maintained and confidential.
- Follow all hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Provide administrative support to management as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; diploma/degree in Hospitality Management is a plus.
- Previous experience in a front office or customer service role preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office and hotel PMS (e.g., Opera, Fidelio) is an advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
