Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests upon arrival and ensure a smooth check-in and check-out process.
  • Handle guest reservations, cancellations, and modifications using the Property Management System (PMS).
  • Manage room assignments and issue room keys.
  • Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a courteous and timely manner.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel services, amenities, promotions, and local attractions.
  • Handle cash, credit card, and other payment transactions securely.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments regarding room status and guest needs.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
  • Ensure guest records are properly maintained and confidential.
  • Follow all hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Provide administrative support to management as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; diploma/degree in Hospitality Management is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a front office or customer service role preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and hotel PMS (e.g., Opera, Fidelio) is an advantage.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
