Job Title: Sales Specialist – Tape Library & Storage Solutions

Location: Chennai (Open / Major Metro City)

Cinthamani Computer is a leading IT infrastructure and media solutions provider in India, offering a wide range of products and services across enterprise storage, backup, and production environments.

We are an authorized key partner for Spectra Logic, offering their complete portfolio of tape libraries, LTO media, and data archiving solutions. We're looking for a sales professional who can focus exclusively on driving Spectra Logic solution sales across India.

Key Responsibilities


• Promote and sell Spectra Logic Tape Libraries, LTO

Tapes, and related storage products to enterprise, broadcast, government, and research customers.


• Identify and onboard new customers and resellers in the data storage and backup ecosystem.


• Understand customer requirements and suggest suitable Spectra Logic configurations and models.


• Work with internal and vendor teams to prepare quotations, proposals, and RFP responses.


• Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets for Spectra Logic products.


• Maintain updated records of opportunities, leads, and forecasts.

Requirements


• 2-5 years of experience selling LTO Tapes, Tape Libraries, or Enterprise Storage Solutions.


• Familiarity with LTO technology, data archiving, and backup workflows.


• ⁠Good understanding of enterprise customers' procurement and IT infrastructure environment.


• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.


• Self-motivated and able to work independently.


• Basic technical understanding of backup software, SAN/NAS storage, or tape automation is preferred.
