Position Summary
This position shall be responsible for Procurement of Indirect Materials (Includes all, excepting production parts needed for machine building).

Work You'll Do

  • Responsible to ensure to deliver the assigned materials to internal departments on or before the scheduled time,
  • Conduct a proper cost analysis to land up the right cost required to purchase the indirect materials, and monitor cost for all affiliated suppliers,
  • Supplier Analysis, scan the market for the availability of supplier and create alternate vendors wherever required, analyze existing supplier's performance based on data / past experience related to rejection rate, rework Issues, delivery Issues, stock levels, supplier capacity, etc.,
  • Ensure commodity-wise proper inventory control, monitor quality -
  • Address and resolve commodity-wise quality issues, identify and implement cost reduction initiatives at the supplier end or in the internal process,
  • Data preparation, MIS and data entry into ERP system.

Team
You will be part of Indirect Procurement Team.

Basic Qualifications
Graduate preferred stream shall be Mechanical / Civil Engineering / Science / Commerce Stream, with @ 5 to 8 Years work experience

Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge on Factory Acts, Labour Laws, Contractual Laws & Obligations shall be an added benefit.
