Job Title: Head of Operations Investment Banking / Fund Administration

Job Summary:

The Head of Operations will be responsible for leading and scaling the operations function across Fund Accounting, Reconciliation, Trade Operations, and Valuations within the Investment Banking and Fund Administration space. The role demands a strong leader with hands-on experience in fund operations, deep understanding of financial products, and the ability to drive process efficiency through technology and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, mentor, and scale high-performing teams across Trade Operations, Fund Accounting, Valuations, and Reconciliations.

Oversee daily operations ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with regulatory standards and client SLAs.

Manage the fund accounting process, including NAV calculation, P&L reporting, fee accruals, and performance analysis.

Supervise trade lifecycle management trade capture, confirmation, settlement, and exception handling.

Implement and enhance reconciliation frameworks (cash, positions, transactions, and NAV).

Collaborate with technology teams to design and implement automation and process improvement initiatives.

Drive operational transformation projects to improve efficiency, scalability, and control.

Partner with internal stakeholders (Risk, Compliance, Finance, Technology) and external service providers.

Establish and monitor KPIs and KRIs to measure performance and operational risk.

Provide strategic insights and reporting to senior management to support business growth and client satisfaction.

Required Skills & Experience:

16+ years of experience in Investment Banking / Fund Administration / Asset Management operations.

Proven track record in Fund Accounting, Trade Operations, Reconciliation, and Valuation.

Experience in managing large, cross-functional teams and driving performance in a fast-paced environment.

Strong understanding of investment products (equities, fixed income, derivatives, FX, etc.) and their operational workflows.

Proficiency in fund accounting systems (e.g., Geneva, Multifonds, Investran, Advent, etc.) and reconciliation tools.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Excellent knowledge of technology and automation tools (e.g., Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
