We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Sales Engineer with a strong background in process and industrial automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, building client relationships, and providing technical solutions to industrial customers across various sectors such as manufacturing, process industries, oil & gas, water treatment, and pharmaceuticals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the process and industrial automation sector.
  • Promote and sell automation solutions, PLCs, SCADA systems, instrumentation, drives, and related products.
  • Understand customer requirements and propose suitable technical solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Collaborate with engineering and project teams to develop proposals, quotations, and technical documentation.
  • Negotiate and close sales deals while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain strong post-sales relationships and provide ongoing support to key accounts.
  • Track market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
  • Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs.

Requirements:

  • Education: Diploma or B.E/B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related engineering field.
  • Experience: 2–6 years in sales of process control or industrial automation systems.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Knowledge of PLCs, DCS, SCADA, HMI, VFDs, sensors, and instrumentation.
  • Familiarity with industrial networking (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, etc.).
  • Understanding of industrial processes and automation applications.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Other: Willingness to travel to client sites and industrial locations.

Preferred Experience (Optional):

  • Prior experience with automation brands such as Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider, ABB, or Mitsubishi.
  • Exposure to sectors like water treatment, power, oil & gas, or manufacturing automation.
  • Experience in handling system integrators and OEMs.
