Role Overview

The General Manager – International Admissions & Outreach will lead the university's efforts to attract, engage, and enroll qualified international students. This strategic role involves devising innovative global outreach plans, developing strategic partnerships, and positioning Bennett University as a preferred higher education destination across key international markets.

Key Responsibilities

  1. International Admissions & Recruitment

  2. Develop and execute strategic plans for recruiting international students from key regions such as Africa, Eurasia, South Asia, and the Middle East.

  3. Identify, onboard, and manage international student recruitment agencies and partners.
  4. Ensure admission targets are met through effective lead generation, conversion, and country-specific campaigns.
  5. Build and maintain strong relationships with foreign universities, government bodies, and educational consultants.

  6. Marketing, Branding & Communication

  7. Design and implement international marketing and digital campaigns to enhance Bennett University's global visibility.

  8. Oversee the creation of culturally resonant promotional materials and digital content tailored for different regions.
  9. Organize and manage international events, webinars, and cultural exchange programs to strengthen the university's global reputation.

  10. Strategic Leadership & Team Management

  11. Lead and mentor a high-performing international admissions team to achieve set goals.

  12. Conduct annual budgeting, forecasting, and ROI analysis for all international recruitment and outreach activities.
  13. Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership on emerging global education trends and opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Master's Degree in International Relations, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 12–18 years of progressive experience in international admissions, global marketing, or higher education outreach.
  • Proven success in international student recruitment, preferably within a reputed university or educational institution.
  • Strong understanding of higher education systems across Africa, Eurasia, and Asia-Pacific regions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and cross-cultural relationship management skills.
