Area Sales Manager

Role & responsibilities
- Drive personal loan disbursement targets across assigned branches, locations.
- Plan and execute monthly and quarterly sales strategies to achieve growth in loan volumes and revenue.
- Generate self-sourced and partner-led leads to ensure a healthy and diversified business pipeline.
- Regularly monitor application-to-disbursal conversion and take steps to improve it.
- Set clear sales goals, activity metrics, and performance KPIs for the team.
- Maintain portfolio quality by ensuring low delinquency and NPA levels.
Preferred candidate profile
- 4-5 years of experience in instant personal loan sales, specifically through digital lending applications.
- Minimum 3-4 years of team handling experience in Personal Loans / Unsecured Lending.
- Exposure to both physical and digital sourcing models (fintech, online aggregators).
- Strong understanding of digital lending processes and customer onboarding.
- Experience working in target-driven roles with consistent achievement of monthly disbursal numbers.
- Ability to assist customers who are unfamiliar with digital processes, including guiding them through app usage, document upload, and eKYC.
- Comfortable using loan apps, CRMs, and mobile-first sales processes.
- Fluent in local language plus Hindi/English (depending on region).
- B.Com Graduate (preferably).
- Postgraduate degrees (MBA, PGDM, etc.) and relevant certifications in sales, marketing, or financial services will be considered a plus.
