Role Overview
The Social Media Manager will lead and drive the organic growth strategy for Vedantu's early learning segment across various digital platforms. This role focuses on expanding the brand's reach and engagement through innovative organic distribution techniques, including social media campaigns, influencer collaborations, and barter deals. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing organic distribution campaigns on platforms like Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, and emerging channels. The role requires strong knowledge of social media algorithms, influencer marketing, and B2B partnership management to effectively amplify Vedantu's content and grow its user base on social channels.
Key Responsibilities
● Develop and implement comprehensive organic distribution strategies across leading digital and social media platforms (such as Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, and emerging channels).
● Design and lead organic growth campaigns to maximize reach, engagement, and brand presence without paid amplification.
● Plan, execute, and optimize organic collaboration initiatives with other EdTech brands, complementary organizations, and parenting communities for mutual content amplification.
● Identify, onboard, and manage influencer partnerships (nano, micro, and macro), focusing on creators relevant to student and parent audiences.
● Negotiate and close barter deals with influencers and partners, ensuring value-driven collaborations that align with brand objectives.
● Coordinate and lead collaborative content initiatives (such as joint webinars, live sessions, and co-branded campaigns).
● Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of organic campaigns, using data-driven insights and analytics to refine future strategy.
● Stay updated on social media platform algorithms, audience trends, and organic amplification best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
● Build and nurture relationships within the influencer and creator ecosystem, especially among those in education, early learning, and parenting spaces.
● Work cross-functionally with content, creative, and product teams to ensure organic initiatives support broader business and marketing goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 2–8 years of experience managing social media platforms for a brand or agency.
- Strong understanding of social media algorithms, trends, and best practices.
- Excellent content creation, copywriting, storytelling, and visual communication skills.
- Proficiency with analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Sprout, Hootsuite, etc.).
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail and aesthetics.
