
Relationship Manager – POSP Channel

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated professional to drive business growth through the POSP (Point of Sales Person) channel in Life Insurance. The candidate should have strong exposure to the Agency model and the ability to build, manage, and nurture POSP partners for sustained business delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, train, and activate POSP agents to drive life insurance business.
- Manage and strengthen relationships with POSPs, ensuring consistent performance and engagement.
- Achieve monthly and annual business targets through effective channel management.
- Conduct regular training sessions and refreshers on product knowledge, compliance, and sales processes.
- Monitor POSP productivity and provide support to enhance their sales performance.
- Drive penetration of life insurance products across customer segments.
- Ensure compliance with all IRDAI regulations and company policies.
- Generate new business opportunities through networking and referral channels.
- Desired Candidate Profile Education: Graduate / Post Graduate (Any discipline).
Experience:
- 3–5 years of experience in Life Insurance – Agency or POSP channel.
- Strong exposure to recruitment, training, and management of insurance agents / POSPs
- Proven track record of achieving sales and business targets.
- Good understanding of life insurance products, POSP model, and regulatory guidelines.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship management skills.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable working in a performance-driven environment.
