Technical Qualifications:

  • Over 5 years of development experience, proficient in Python, Node, and frameworks like Django, Flask and Fastapi.
  • Expertise in front-end web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React.
  • Experience in writing better code and conducting code reviews, with an understanding of system scaling while maintaining security.
  • Proficient in designing, implementing, and optimising SQL and No-SQL databases, like Postgresql and MongoDB.
  • Knowledgeable about big database technologies like Elastic, with experience working on cloud platforms such as AWS and Google Cloud.
  • Proven track record in planning and executing high-quality software projects.
  • Experience in project coordination and delivery management within a product-based model, with familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Proficiency in DevOps practices including CI/CD, with knowledge of microservices and serverless computing preferred.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of breaking down complex issues into manageable tasks.
  • Skilled in devising implementation strategies for event-driven data integration according to business requirements.
  • Familiarity with emerging tools such as columnar and NoSQL databases, and unstructured data.

Required Qualifications and Skills (Must-Have)

  • Strong development experience with at least one Python web framework (Django, Flask, or FastAPI)
  • Experience with PostgreSQL and writing efficient SQL queries
  • Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Redis, or DynamoDB
  • Proficiency in building RESTful APIs
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized deployments
  • Cloud platform experience, preferably AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda)
  • Working knowledge of message brokers like RabbitMQ or Kafka
  • Proficient with Git and version control workflows
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes or other container orchestration tools
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables

Good to Have

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools
  • Basic understanding of frontend stack (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
  • Exposure to microservices and event-driven architecture

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree/ Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
