Python Lead

Technical Qualifications:

·      Over 5 years of development experience, proficient in Python, Node, and frameworks like Django, Flask and Fastapi.

·      Expertise in front-end web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React.

·      Experience in writing better code and conducting code reviews, with an understanding of system scaling while maintaining security.

·      Proficient in designing, implementing, and optimising SQL and No-SQL databases, like Postgresql and MongoDB.

·      Knowledgeable about big database technologies like Elastic, with experience working on cloud platforms such as AWS and Google Cloud.

·      Proven track record in planning and executing high-quality software projects.

·      Experience in project coordination and delivery management within a product-based model, with familiarity with Agile methodologies.

·      Proficiency in DevOps practices including CI/CD, with knowledge of microservices and serverless computing preferred.

·      Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.

·      Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

·      Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of breaking down complex issues into manageable tasks.

·      Skilled in devising implementation strategies for event-driven data integration according to business requirements.

·      Familiarity with emerging tools such as columnar and NoSQL databases, and unstructured data.

Required Qualifications and Skills (Must-Have)

  • Strong development experience with at least one Python web framework
    (Django, Flask, or FastAPI)
  • Experience with PostgreSQL
    and writing efficient SQL queries
  • Experience with NoSQL databases
    such as MongoDB, Redis, or DynamoDB
  • Proficiency in building RESTful APIs
  • Hands-on experience with Docker
    and containerized deployments
  • Cloud platform experience
    , preferably AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda)
  • Working knowledge of message brokers
    like RabbitMQ or Kafka
  • Proficient with Git
    and version control workflows
  • Familiarity with
    Kubernetes
    or other container orchestration tools
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables

Good to Have

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools
  • Basic understanding of frontend stack (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
  • Exposure to microservices and event-driven architecture

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Computer Science, Engineering
    , or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of relevant backend development experience
