We are looking for a talented and motivated Lead Developer(Python) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python programming, web scraping, and application development, as well as experience leading and mentoring a team of developers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • · Lead and mentor a team of Python developers, guiding them in best practices, code reviews, and technical solutions.
  • Break down complex tasks into manageable modules and provide clear direction to the team.
  • Work closely with front-end and back-end developers, data analysts, and other cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of Python-based systems.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing Python applications and services.
  • Oversee the technical direction of projects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Design and implement high-performance, scalable web scraping solutions using Python and frameworks.
  • Develop, deploy, and maintain Python-based applications, APIs, and services.
  • Optimize web scraping and data collection workflows to handle large-scale data sets efficiently.
  • Understanding of database systems and SQL.

Key Skills & Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Python with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software development principles.
  • Hands-on experience with Scrapy, selenium or beautiful soap for web scraping and data extraction from complex websites.
  • Strong knowledge of data processing, storage, and manipulation, particularly with MySQL.
  • Exposure to Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts is a plus.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and data APIs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of hands-on Python development experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or mentoring role.
  • Experience with advanced scraping techniques, such as handling JavaScript-heavy sites (e.g., using Selenium etc )
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear and understandable manner.

  • Frameworks- Scrapy, Beautiful Soup, Selenium or playwright.
