Senior Human Resources Generalist:-Position Overview

The Senior Human Resources (HR) Generalist will serve as a key HR partner, managing day-to-day HR operations, employee relations, and compliance matters. This role will support the organization in driving HR policies, talent management, performance development, and employee engagement initiatives. The position requires a proactive professional with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple HR functions independently.

Key Responsibilities

1. HR Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, employment regulations, and company policies.
  • Manage employee records, contracts, and HR documentation.
  • Oversee statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, Factories Act, etc.).

2. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and lead end-to-end recruitment.
  • Conduct interviews, negotiate offers, and ensure smooth onboarding.
  • Develop and manage talent pipelines for critical roles.

3. Employee Relations

  • Act as the first point of contact for employee queries, grievances, and conflict resolution.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Counsel employees and provide guidance to managers on HR policies and disciplinary actions.

4. Performance & Talent Management

  • Support the performance appraisal cycle, KRA/KPI tracking, and development planning.
  • Partner with managers to identify training needs and support learning & development initiatives.

5. Compensation & Benefits

  • Administer payroll inputs, attendance management, and benefits programs.
  • Benchmark compensation trends and recommend improvements.

6. HR Analytics & Reporting

  • Maintain HR dashboards and generate reports on attrition, recruitment, and workforce planning.
  • Analyze HR metrics to support data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 6–8 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing/services sector.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR compliance, and HRMS tools.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HR software (SAP/ERP/HRMS).
