Job Summary

We are seeking a knowledgeable and dynamic Software Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging training sessions to employees on various software applications and systems. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, teaching ability, and strong communication skills to ensure participants gain a thorough understanding of the software tools necessary for their roles.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver training programs on software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite, AWS, EMR systems, and more.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to users experiencing issues with software applications.
  • Create instructional materials using tools such as Adobe Captivate, Adobe Creative Suite, and LMS platforms.
  • Conduct classroom training sessions as well as virtual training sessions using tools like Google Workspace and Microsoft Teams.
  • Assess the training needs of employees and tailor programs accordingly to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of software updates, new features, and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with IT departments to ensure that all training materials align with current technology standards.
  • Utilize analysis skills to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements as needed.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Google Workspace, and Adobe products (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Experience in teaching or training in a classroom setting or corporate environment.
  • Strong computer management skills with familiarity in operating systems such as Windows, macOS, Linux.
  • Knowledge of computer networking concepts and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Java and HTML is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
  • Experience with IT support or help desk roles is advantageous.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
