Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and forward-looking Head of Learning & Development to lead capability-building initiatives across our consumer electronics business. The role will focus on creating a future-ready workforce, strengthening sales & service capabilities, developing leadership pipelines, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

The incumbent will play a key role in aligning L&D strategies with business growth, customer-centricity, and digital transformation in a rapidly evolving consumer electronics landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Learning Strategy & Capability Building

  • Design and implement the organization-wide L&D roadmap aligned with business priorities.
  • Build sales, channel, and service capability programs to drive stronger customer engagement and market performance.
  • Develop blended learning solutions (in-person, digital, micro-learning, and experiential).
  • Partner with business leaders to identify skill gaps and address them with targeted interventions.

Leadership & Talent Development

  • Lead HiPo identification and succession planning for senior and business-critical roles.
  • Create accelerated career journeys for young talent, with strong emphasis on sales and frontline teams.
  • Develop Individual Development Plans (IDPs) for leaders and successors.
  • Institutionalize coaching and mentoring frameworks across the organization.

Digital & Future-Ready Learning

  • Drive adoption of digital learning platforms, AI-based learning, and virtual academies.
  • Implement employee communication and recognition plans to encourage sustained learning adoption.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of digital learning initiatives.

Culture, Engagement & Inclusion

  • Lead culture-building initiatives including Great Place to Work (GPTW) certification and engagement surveys.
  • Champion Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) agenda women-focused policies, exclusive workshops, bias awareness, and diverse talent intake for key roles.
  • Drive POSH awareness and compliance training across the workforce.
