Position: Admission Counsellor

Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Admission Counsellor with 2–4 years of experience in student counselling, lead conversion, and admissions management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding students, understanding their career goals, providing accurate course information, and ensuring successful enrollment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inquiries from prospective students through calls, walk-ins, emails, and online platforms.
  • Provide detailed counselling related to courses, career prospects, fee structures, and admission processes.
  • Follow up on leads generated through marketing campaigns and convert them into admissions.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of all programs, eligibility criteria, and academic requirements.
  • Assist students throughout the documentation and admission process.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly admission targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of inquiries, follow-ups, and conversions in CRM / database.
  • Participate in admission events, seminars, webinars, and promotional activities.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with students and parents.
  • Provide feedback to management about student needs and market trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Graduate in any discipline; MBA/PGDM (preferred but not mandatory).
  • 2–4 years of experience as an Admission Counsellor, Academic Counsellor, or Inside Sales Executive.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to explain courses clearly and influence decision-making.
  • Good command over MS Office and CRM tools.
  • Target-driven, confident, and proactive approach.
  • Strong problem-solving and listening skills.
