Job description:Service Technician

About The Gig

We are looking for a dedicated and technically skilled Service Technician to join our two-wheeler service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostics, repair, and routine maintenance of electric or petrol two-wheelers, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
 
What You'll Do

  • Perform diagnostics, repair, and servicing of electric two-wheelers.

  • Identify and troubleshoot issues related to battery, BMS, motor, controller, and wiring harness.

  • Conduct preventive maintenance and health checkups as per OEM standards.

  • Handle Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) and ensure delivery-readiness of vehicles.

  • Use diagnostic tools and service applications to assess vehicle issues.

  • Complete job cards, service records, and feedback reports accurately.

  • Educate customers on EV usage, charging practices, and basic maintenance tips.

  • Ensure tools, equipment, and service bays are well-maintained and safe.

  • Assist with field breakdowns and remote service calls when necessary.

  • Report critical issues and recurring failures to the technical team for resolution

What You Bring

  • ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Automobile Engineering.

  • 4+ years of experience in EV servicing or electric mobility domain preferred.

  • Strong understanding of EV systems: lithium-ion battery, CAN communication, motor controllers, chargers.

  • Basic knowledge of EV diagnostic tools and software.

  • Good communication and customer service skills.

  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under minimal supervision.

  • Willingness to travel locally for field service support.
