JUNIOR INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN

Position Level: Junior Technician / Assistant Installer

Salary Range: ₹18,000 - ₹25,000/month + installation bonus (₹1,000-1,500 per job)

Experience Required: 2-3 years in general construction, electrical work, or HVAC basics

Reports To: Senior Installation Technician / Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Installation Support:

  2. Assist senior technician in all installation phases

  3. Help carry and position heavy equipment (blower units, filter boxes)
  4. Prepare work site and protect customer property
  5. Assist in duct installation and fittings
  6. Help with electrical wiring under senior technician supervision
  7. Clean up after installations and maintain work site

  8. Handle material logistics and inventory on-site

  9. Maintenance Support:

  10. Accompany senior technician for maintenance visits (transition to monthly maintenance team)

  11. Learn monthly filter replacement and system checks
  12. Assist with customer communication and documentation

  13. Help build spare parts inventory

  14. Training & Development:

  15. Learn installation SOP step-by-step under senior technician mentorship

  16. Attend safety and technical training sessions
  17. Gradually increase responsibility and independence
