
Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our growing furniture company. The BDM will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities with commercial clients, including architects, interior designers, developers, and corporate end-users. This role is crucial for expanding our market share, forging long-term strategic relationships, and driving significant revenue growth across our product portfolio (e.g., office, hospitality, residential, etc.).
Sales & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers, including architects, interior designers, general contractors, and procurement professionals.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals tailored to client needs.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas.
- Coordinate with the in-house design, production, and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution and high client satisfaction.
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 6-8 years of proven business development or outside sales experience, with a strong track record of closing B2B sales.
- Demonstrable experience working with or selling to the A&D (Architect & Design) community, commercial developers, or contract furniture industry.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of managing a large sales territory and pipeline independently.
Preferred
- Experience with custom or contract furniture sales.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
