Location: Office & Field-based role with coordination from our office in Lohegaon, Pune.
Working Hours:
• Monday to Friday: 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM
• Alternate Saturdays: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Overview: Enark UPLIFT is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Counsellor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing and sales, with a focus on generating leads and converting them into business opportunities. The candidate in this post, while at office, will have to initiate telephonic contact with existing and prospective clients to generate sales. And while on field, shall visit schools to generate & convert sales.
This role requires excellent communication skills in English, Hindi, and Marathi, as well as the ability to travel within Pune, using their own vehicle. To this end, the candidate will be required to obtain lists of individuals' / school owner/principal's information, and to source data for additional members of the target audience.
On Field Responsibilities:
• Visit schools across Pune and adjoining cities to present and promote our EdTech Teacher Training Programs to educators and administrators.
• Deliver engaging product demonstrations and presentations tailored to educator needs.
• Build and maintain relationships with school decision-makers. And coordinate with internal teams to align outreach efforts with marketing campaigns
• Collect feedback from school visits to inform product and marketing improvements.
Maintain records of visits, leads, and follow-ups using CRM tools
• Represent the company at local education events, exhibitions, and workshops
• Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industries for Enark UPLIFT
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve targets and expand our customer base.
• Actively pursue new business opportunities by cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
Telecalling Responsibilities
• Studying the details of each course that Enark UPLIFT offers, and remaining abreast of updates to these courses offered.
• Calling active and budding clients/leads to encourage the enrolment in courses; and explaining the same customers - based on course offers / benefits. Thence obtaining and updating lists of individuals' contact details.
• Addressing clients' uncertainties, grievances, and suggestions on time.
• Communicating verbal confirmations of the enrolment decisions to the Supervisor for closing.
• Maintain records (soft copy & hard copy) of all successful and unsuccessful attempts to close sales.
Follow Up Responsibilities
• Coordinating with educators for orientation / induction.
• Follow up post orientation with supervisor as shadow.
• Closing the sale & with bank and admin formalities.
• Handing over the details of the confirmed enrolments to the Admin.
Other Duties
• Attending regular team meetings to clarify progress and performance-related expectations.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or any related field.
• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in sales and business development, preferably in the EdTech or Education industry.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English, Hindi, and Marathi.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
• Must have a valid driver's license and own vehicle for travel within Pune. Benefits:
