About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Support Services (ESS) professional to join our Production Department for our state-of-the-art TOPCon solar cell manufacturing facility. The role involves providing engineering and technical support to ensure smooth production operations, adherence to quality standards, and continuous improvement of processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day engineering and technical support to the production team.
  • Assist in monitoring and controlling production processes to achieve defined KPIs (yield, throughput, efficiency, uptime).
  • Implement and sustain 5S practices and drive Kaizen initiatives for continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Maintenance, Quality, Process Engineering) to resolve production issues.
  • Support root cause analysis of process deviations and assist in corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Maintain and update records in MS Word, Excel, and other reporting tools.
  • Assist in training operators and technicians on process compliance and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all production activities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Industrial, or related engineering field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably solar, semiconductor, or electronics industry).
  • Strong knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, and basic data analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with 5S, Kaizen, and Lean Manufacturing practices.
  • Good understanding of shop-floor documentation and production support systems.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in solar cell/module manufacturing or similar precision-driven industries.
  • Knowledge of basic statistical tools (Pareto, Fishbone, SPC charts).
  • Exposure to TPM, Six Sigma, or similar improvement methodologies.
