We are seeking a talented individual to join our Operations team at Marsh. This role will be based in Mumbai. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Specialist – Insurance Operations (Grade C1)

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Science Specialist with strong problem-solving capabilities, excellent analytical skills, and hands-on experience with Microsoft products and data platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data-driven solutions that empower business teams to make informed decisions, optimize processes, and unlock new opportunities.

We will count on you to:

  • Perform data cleaning, integration, and transformation from multiple sources, including structured and unstructured data.

  • Develop, test, and deploy data models, dashboards, and visualizations using Microsoft tools (Power BI, Excel, SQL Server, etc.)

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into data science solutions.

  • Continuously improve models and solutions by evaluating performance and retraining where necessary.

What you need to have:     

  • We are seeking a professional with over 4 years of operational experience and proven expertise in data management and analysis. ​

  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities with a structured approach to tackling business challenges.

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft products and platforms:
    Power BI, Excel (advanced), SQL Server, Power Automate, Power Apps.

  • Solid understanding of statistical modelling supervised and unsupervised learning, and optimization techniques.

  • Experience in data visualization, storytelling with data, and stakeholder engagement.

  • Strong communication skills to present technical results to non-technical audiences.

  • Should be okay with 6.30pm – 3.30am shift timing
